CAN I PICK UP THE GREETINGS AND INSTALL MYSELF?
No, installation and removal are included in the price. To prevent any injury from occurring, we ask that you do not move or remove our greeting for any reason. If you need them taken early, please give us a call and we will gladly come to pick them up.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY DATE IS AVAILABLE?
Choose the item you are interested in and there is a calendar to check dates based on your selection.
WHAT IF I WANT A BIRTHDAY GREETING BUT THEY ARE ALL SOLD OUT FOR THE DAY I WANT?
You are welcome to complete a special request and email it. We may still be able to do a birthday greeting based on what is in our inventory.
WHEN DO YOU INSTALL AND TAKE THE GREETINGS DOWN?
Our normal procedure is to install the greetings the morning of your event date and remove them the evening of your event date. If you are renting for more than one day, we will pick up the greetings the evening of the last day of your rental. If you prefer a different time for your specific situation, please indicate your wishes in the notes section of your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please read terms & conditions for more information.
HOW LONG CAN I RENT A YARD GREETING?
You will have your choice of 1-3 days. Extra days are subject to a fee and depend on availability. If you need it longer, please let us know prior to scheduling. We are always willing to work with you to meet the needs of your special event.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Prices start at $65 for a one-day rental. This includes delivery, installation and removal. We do have discounted pricing for not for profits. Please contact us to discuss signs for not for profit organizations.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
All pricing includes your personalized celebration greeting that you choose, as well as stars, balloons and other fun graphics based on age and interest. Yard Memories LLC does all delivery, set up and removal of the yard greeting. There is no shipping or delivery charge.
Rush orders may be subject to an additional fee. If you submit a special request, we will review it based on our inventory for your event date and get back to you with an approval, changes or let you know we can’t process it.
DO I GET TO CHOOSE MY COLORS AND GRAPHICS?
We encourage you to request the colors and graphics that you like. All requests are subject to availability. If neither the primary nor secondary color you choose is available, we will reach out to you to discuss options. If the graphics you choose are not available they may be substituted at our discretion. If you have specific graphics you would like that you do not see in our inventory, please reach out to discuss. With enough lead time we can special order specific graphics for your celebration. There will not be an extra charge as long as it is something we feel we can use in the future.
DO YOU TAKE LAST MINUTE ORDERS?
If we have the inventory and availability, we can do next day delivery.
CAN GREETINGS BE SETUP AT A DIFFERENT TIME?
We will do our best to accommodate you. Please let us know on your order under "ADDITIONAL DELIVERY NOTES" that you need a different time.
WHEN WILL THE CELEBRATION GREETING BE PICKED UP?
Greetings are typically picked up after 7 pm the day of the event, unless extra days were purchased. If you have a pickup time request for earlier or later we can try to accommodate based on scheduling, but arrangements need to be made ahead of time.
CAN YOU INSTALL THE CELEBRATION GREETING IN MY BACKYARD OR AT A PUBLIC PARK?
Installation and removal of greetings in backyards will only be done during daylight hours.
Installation at a public place such as a park requires a responsible adult to be present from time of installation to time of removal. Renter will be liable for any missing or damaged pieces. It is strongly encouraged to check with the park district or landowner to ensure signs are permitted on the premises. No refunds will be given for early removal due to a request by the landowner.
CAN YOU INSTALL A CELEBRATION GREETING AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX?
Every apartment community has different rules and space. Please check with your management group to make sure that signs are allowed and where they are allowed. Rather than order through the website it would also be good to contact us to discuss the space available and what your best options are.
DO WE GET TO KEEP THE CELEBRATION GREETING?
Unfortunately, no. The greetings are the property of Yard Memories LLC and instrumental to our business.
CAN I BUY GREETINGS FROM YOU TO KEEP?
We are a rental only business. Purchasing is not available at this time.
CAN WE MOW THE YARD WHEN THE GREETINGS ARE UP?
We ask that you schedule lawn services before delivery or after removal. Mowers and trimmers can damage the greetings. You will be liable for any damage to the greeting.
SHOULD WE WATER THE LAWN BEFORE YOU COME?
If it is dry out, please water the lawn for a day or two before installation. This will help insure that the stakes can go into the ground. If the ground is too hard we will be unable to install the greeting. It is a good idea to leave a hose nearby just incase the ground is still too dry.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
If you must cancel a reservation, a 48-hour notice is required for a full refund. If you cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to your event, you can choose to receive ½ your package price as a refund or you may leave the full package price as a credit on your account for a future date, based on availability.
We will provide a full refund for any sign that cannot be set up due to inclement weather. Inclement weather includes lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rain, high winds or other Acts of God that would put us or our greetings in harm's way.
We are not able to provide refunds to customers who ask to have the greeting removed once the delivery is made, or in an instance where delivery is attempted but cannot be made due to incorrect address, incorrect or missing gate code, refusal by homeowner, or in any situation where the yard greeting could not be set up due to a perceived danger, be that from an animal or person.
DO YOU GIVE DISCOUNTS TO SCHOOLS?
YES!! I love to support schools and PTOs. Send us an email and we will send you information on our school greeting program.
